If the bottom of your fridge is leaking water, freezer has frost build-up or is not defrosting you may need to replace or clear the refrigerator drain pipe/tube (Part # W10619951).
The drain pipe/tube carries water formed during the defrost cycle to the drain pan at the bottom of the refrigerator. Caution: Remember to unplug the refrigerator before installing this part. If your fridge is connected to a water supply you need to turn it off and disconnect the line.
To begin, you will need a 1/4 inch nut driver and small flat blade screw driver. Pull the refrigerator away from the wall to reach the lower access panel at the back rear of the appliance. Remove the back panel. Locate and disconnect the wire harness in front of the drain pipe/tube using your small flat blade screw driver.
To remove the old drain pipe/tube use the flat blade screw driver to depress the tabs at the base of the drain pan. Remove the old drain pipe/tube and clear the drain outlet. Install the new drain pipe/tube and secure it to the base of the drain pan and drain outlet. Reconnect the wire harness and reconnect the access panel at the back of the appliance.
